Welcome To Mintons Tea Room

Established in 1993 by Roger & Judy Martin, holders of the coveted ”Best Afternoon Tea Award” and since then many others. Peacefully located in the heart of picturesque D.H. Lawrence country.  
 
A friendly welcome in a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere is guaranteed. In fine weather you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the pretty tea garden and in the winter you can warm up inside.  Minton’s extensive menu includes mouth-watering hot lunches, healthy salads, appetising snacks, homemade cakes and desserts and speciality cream teas with many seasonal specials. Mintons carry a fascinating selection of gifts and cards that is constantly evolving.
 
Children are welcome (high chair & colouring books handy), and there is excellent wheelchair access.  
 
Why not take time to visit the beautiful medieval church and witness the grave of Benjamin Drawater, the ships surgeon to Captain Cook while you are here. The area is extremely popular with walkers, cyclists and day-trippers alike, many of whom return time and time again.
